Pagani Zonda Aether sells for $6.05 million at Abu Dhabi Auction

Last week, the Pagani Zonda Riviera sold for $5.5 million at auction. This week, another bespoke Zonda hit the auction block. The Zonda Aether fetched $6.05 million, beating its initial estimate of $4.5-5.5 million.

The Zonda Aether is based on the Zonda Roadster and is finished in bare carbon fibre with red accents. It has black wheels with red centre-lock nuts and a fixed rear spoiler. The car also has air ducts on the rear fenders and an intake scoop similar to the Cinque Roadster.

Inside, the Aether comes with black leather upholstery, leather pull straps instead of door handles, LED rev counter, larger starter button and extra gauges.

Like majority of Zondas, the Zonda Aether too has been upgraded to the 760-specification. Therefore, it comes with a 7.3-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 750 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. More importantly, the Aether is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
