Pagani Huayra Roadster to Launch at Pebble Beach
Pagani is coming to 2016 Pebble Beach with a new supercar. A Huayra Roadster was always going to happen and Horaccio has rightly chosen to launch it at this year’s Monterey Car Week.
While an open top Huayra was expected, confirmation came when a Pagani spokesperson revealed it to Autoblog. The new variant will be called the Pagani Huayra Roadster and will be showcased in the month of August in Monterey, California.

The Pebble Beach weekend allows supercar makers like Pagani to connect directly with their clients. The private gathering of prospective customers at The Quail will get to see the new Huayra Roadster first before being put on display at the Pebble Beach Concourse.
Like its hard top variant, the Huayra Roadster will use the same AMG-built twin-turbo V12 engine albeit with more grunt- peak output could be around 750 hp. It will also share the same drivetrain consisting of Xtrac transmission and rear-wheel drive. Despite the removable hardtop, the new roadster could be 100 lbs lighter than the coupe. Although, it might have an effect on the top speed especially with the roof off.
Production will be limited to just 100 units and each Huayra Roadster will cost upwards of $1.5 million.
