One-Off Rimac C_Two California to be Showcased at Pebble Beach
Rimac showcased the C_Two electric hypercar at Geneva this year and it was sold out within three weeks of the unveiling. The first customer Rimac C_Two is destined for California and it’s a special one.
The C_Two California is finished in a bespoke bright blue paint. While, the bright blue paint is a first for Rimac, it’s not the color that makes this car so unique. At the owner’s request, the C_Two California has been equipped with a luxurious trunk compartment that can fit two 6-litre bottles of champagne and two crystal flutes. Talk about speccing a hypercar!
Rimac will build 150 examples of C_Two, however each car will essentially be a one-off. With numerous customization options on offer, the company has stated that buyers add an average of $575,000 in options. The sticker price for the Rimac C_Two is around $1.91 million.
Mechanically though, the C_Two California is unchanged over the regular C_Two. It comes with four electric motors that generate a total of 1914 hp and 1696 lb-ft of torque. That power will allow the C_Two accelerate from 0-60 mph in 1.85 sec and 0-100 mph in 4.3 sec. The car packs a 120 kWh battery offering a range of 404 miles.
The C_Two California will be displayed at the upcoming Monterey Car Week making appearance at different events including ‘The Quail’ and ‘Exotics at Cannery Row’.
