One-off Ferrari SP-FFX spotted at Suzuka Circuit, Japan

At a private event in 2014, Ferrari unveiled a special one-off based on the FF. Dubbed the Ferrari SP-FFX, this elusive supercar was recently spotted at the Suzuka circuit in Japan.

The SP-FFX was part of the ‘Ferrari Racing Days 2022’ event. In this video (04:43), you can see the car parked in the garage alongside a Ferrari Enzo, 288 GTO and an F40.

Unlike the FF, which is an all-wheel drive shooting brake, the Ferrari SP-FFX is a stylish coupe. Barring a few details like the bumper and vents on the hood, the front end of the car looks similar to the FF. That being said, it’s the rear end that’s most striking. It’s unlike any other Ferrari and features a sculpted fascia and a large diffuser.

The SP-FFX is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine that produces 651 hp and 504 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Like the FF, this one-off also gets a trick gearbox mounted in front of the engine that drives the front axle.
