One-off Ferrari 812 Competizione from Pebble Beach sells for $5.1 million
Remember the Ferrari 812 Competizione with a unique yellow livery from Pebble Beach? Well, that car just sold for $5.1 million at the Ferrari Gala in New York.
According to Ferrari, this 812 Competizione spec was inspired by a “blank sheet”. The painting process is said to have over a year to complete.
It’s essentially a life-size sketch with actual handcrafted lines on the exterior. The same style has been replicated on the interior as well. The same flow lines were created by Ferrari Design Director Flavio Manzoni when the model was still in its design phase.
This 812 Competizione does not feature any mechanical modifications. It is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that develops 830 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque.
Ferrari claims a 0-60 mph time of 2.85 seconds for the coupe and a top speed of 211 mph
