One of 88 Aston Martin V12 Speedster for sale in France

In 2020, the collector scene saw an influx of speedsters. The launch of the Ferrari Monza was followed by the rollout of the McLaren Elva and Aston Martin V12 Speedster.

To get an allocation for one of these, you had to be among the respective brand’s top clients. However, there are quite a few of these in the market these days. @amcarsfrance has just listed a V12 Speedster for sale at an undisclosed price.

Aston Martin built just 88 units of the V12 Speedster. At the time, it was offered at a base price of $950,000. Today, these cars cost well over $1 million.

V12 Speedster’s styling is inspired by the 1953 DB3S and 1959 DBR1. It has a large grille up front and louvres on the fenders. At the rear, the tail lights form an integrated spoiler. The Speedster rides on forged 21-inch centre-lock wheels.

The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which drives the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. The V12 Speedster is said to hit 62 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.
