Nissan GT-R Godzilla by Carlex Design
The Nissan GT-R (R35) has been in production for over 12 years now. Over the years, Nissan has sold thousands of these all over the world. So, how to do you make your Godzilla stand out? The folks at Carlex Design might have the answer.
Carlex Design’s latest project is based on the Prestige version of the GT-R. To create a bespoke exterior, the designers gave it red exterior highlights. The U-shaped grille is finished in red, while subtle red details can also be seen along the splitter and side skirts. At the rear, the GT-R gets red detailing around the diffuser.
For the interior, Carlex Design have chosen blood red leather and black Alcantara. It features bespoke perforation patterns and embossings. Even the rear view mirror has been trimmed. All compartments gets nappa leather and Alcantara paddings. The car also comes with a key case and a carbon leather backpack.
The Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces 565 hp @ 6800 rpm and 467 lb-ft of torque @ 3300-5800 rpm. The Nismo version is powered by the same engine but has 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to all four wheels.
