Nissan 370Z Successor leaked; Could be called the 400Z

Nissan seems to have inadvertently revealed the 370Z successor. Believed to be called the 400Z, the new sports car is featured in a video that was uploaded to Nissan official Youtube channel.

Today, Nissan announced a comprehensive plan to restructure its global business. Part of the company’s plan is to launch 12 new models in the next 18 months and one of them is the 370Z successor.

The car featured in the video looks quite similar to the 370Z. It has a sloping rear profile with wide haunches. The wraparound windshield graphic also seems to have been retained. The car has a pronounced front end and new headlamp cluster that have two C-shaped LED daytime running lights.

Now, reports suggest that the 400Z is likely to share its platform with the Infiniti Q60. It could be powered by a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 producing around 400 hp. Power is expected to be delivered to the rear wheels via either a manual or automatic gearbox.
