Ferrari is gearing up to reveal its next Icona supercar. We can now confirm that it will be unveiled at a private event on November 15. The general public will get to see the car a week later, on November 21.
Ferrari has started sending out invites for the event to its top clients. The special box received by clients all over the world includes a neat gated shifter finished in chrome.
The new Icona draws inspiration from the Ferrari 330 P4. The same was recently confirmed when images of a test mule surfaced online. The test car bears resemblance to the iconic race car from the late 1960s. It appears to have a similar rear spoiler and wing mirrors positioned on the front fenders.
We also know that the next Icona will be based on the LaFerrari Aperta. While it is expected to use the hypercar’s chassis, the engine will be from the 812 Competizione. The 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 830 hp @ 9250 rpm and 510 lb-ft @ 7000 rpm.
