New Lamborghini Supercar to be Revealed at Pebble Beach
An ultra-rare, uber-special Lamborghini supercar is headed to Pebble Beach this year. According to MotorTrend, a limited edition Lamborghini supercar will be shown to a private gathering of potential buyers at the 2015 Pebble Beach Car Week.
Lamborghini has a tradition of building special-edition supercars in limited numbers aimed at wealthy Lamborghini enthusiast and collectors. We are well aware of the Reventon from the recent past which was basically a re-bodied Murcielago and the latest being the Veneno which is based on the Aventador and designed by people who were probably high on a mix of carbon fiber and coke.
As we all know Pebble Beach is an awesome venue for the rich and famous to gather over the weekend, checkout some of the most exotic automobiles on the planet at the manicured greens, all the while sipping expensive champagne. What interests supercar makers like Lamborghini though is that, they get an opportunity to connect with their customers directly- some of them get their checkbooks along too.
Having said that, Lamborghini is expected to reveal a supercar based on the new Aventador SV but with 800 hp instead of a 741 hp V12 that sits under the stock LP750-4. Expect Lamborghini supercar designers to come up with some crazy-arse exterior this time as well. Moreover, we the general public would have to wait to see the car until the 2015 Frankfurt motor show.
