Modified 480 HP-750 HP 2020 Chevy Camaros join Hertz Rental Fleet
Hendrick Motorsports will provide Hertz with the modified 2020 Chevy Camaros. Only 224 cars will be added to the fleet and availability will be limited to select locations.
Hertz has teamed up with Hendrick Motorsports to offer two incredible muscle cars to the rental fleet. Soon you’ll be able to pick up a 480 hp 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS or a more powerful 750 hp 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 from select outlets of the rental company in the United States.
Let’s speak of the 750 hp ZL1 first. Hendrick Motorsports has given the ZL1 a nice upgrade in the supercharger department with a big Callaway blower. Then they added custom Hertz wheels, lighted door sill plates, embroidered headrests, fender badges, a Hertz-Hendrick Motorsports dash plaque as well as the signature and No. 24 logo of Hendrick Motorsports’ NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series driver William Byron.
Coming to the 480 hp Camaro SS, the healthy 25 hp power boost comes from the deployment of a Chevrolet cold air intake and car-back dual exhaust setup. To improve cornering, a Hendrick Motorsports strut tower bar has been integrated. The rest of the package comprises of the same bells and whistles featured in the 750 hp Camaro ZL1.
200 Camaro SS and 24 Camaro ZL1 will be available for rental from October. Wish to try them out? Head over to the following locations next month – Hertz airport locations in Phoenix; Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco, California; Ft. Lauderdale, Ft. Meyers, Miami, Orlando and Tampa, Florida; Atlanta; Las Vegas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Nashville; and Dallas and Houston, Texas.
There is also The Hertz Ultimate Ride Sweepstakes, running from September 18 to November 15. Participants stand a chance to win a 2020 Hertz-Hendrick Motorsports Camaro SS. Five finalists will get to enjoy a driving experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway with William Byron, lunch with Byron’s No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Team, a private behind-the-scenes tour of Hendrick Motorsports facilities, and NASCAR Hall of Fame passes.
