Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet revealed at Pebble Beach
Last year, Mercedes unveiled the Maybach 6 concept at Pebble Beach. This year, they brought its cabriolet version. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is 19-feet of exquisite luxury, which unlike the last year’s concept can be enjoyed with the wind in your hair and the sun in your face.
The design is pretty much similar to the coupe, with its elongated hood and long wheelbase and extended overhangs. It takes inspiration from yachts and it shows when you climb into the seat. The dashboard is designed to wrap around you and the floor is covered in wood. Open the enormous bonnet and you have a fitted luggage and picnic set.
Underneath the expansive bodywork is a 750 hp electric motor powered by batteries that sit under the floor. Mercedes claims, the Maybach 6 Cabriolet will cover 200 miles on a single charge.
The Vision Maybach 6 cabriolet is purely a design study and Mercedes-Benz currently has no plans to put it into production.
