Mercedes-AMG C63S Crashes while leaving 100% Auto Live Car Meet
That embarrassing moment when you crash your Mercedes-AMG C63S while leaving a local car meet.
The internet is littered with videos of half witted yobos in Ford Mustangs crashing their cars while showing off. Most of these videos are shot by bystanders at a car meet. A similar incident took place in the Netherlands earlier this month.
A Mercedes-AMG C63S owner was attending the 100% Auto Live event in Rotterdam. As you may have guessed, the accident took place when the car was leaving the venue. The driver floors the throttle as he makes a right turn with the intention of showing off for the cameras. As the rear wheels break traction, the driver applies opposite lock but over corrects and swerves left. The C63S ploughs straight into the median and slams sideways into a tree.
The aftermath of the crash reveals substantial damage to the passenger side, especially the rear quarter. The fancy AMG alloy wheels also take a massive hit. It seems like the suspension might need some repairs as well.
Now, this is not how you powerslide your way onto Youtube.
The Mercedes-AMG C63S is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The claimed 0-60 mph time is 3.7 seconds and according to Mercedes, it will hit 180 mph.
