Meet the all-new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

Aston Martin has revealed the all-new Vantage Roadster. It’s an open-top version of the already beautiful Vantage coupe.

The Roadster comes with a folding soft-top that can be lowered in 6.7 seconds and raised in 6.8 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph. The roof mechanism and chassis reinforcements have only added 132 lbs to the overall weight of the car.

Additionally, Aston Martin has also introduced a new ‘vane’ grille on both the coupe and convertible models to celebrate 70 years of the Vantage nameplate.

Powering the Vantage Roadster is the same 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 503 hp and 505 lb-ft of torque. The AMG-sourced motor is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It allows the Roadster to hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph. Interestingly, Aston now offers a 7-speed manual gearbox on the standard coupe as well.

The new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster costs $161,000 in the US. Deliveries will commence in the third quarter of 2020.
