McLaren W1 to join the P1 & F1 in Jay Leno’s Garage

The McLaren W1 has been featured in the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. It’s a must-watch for car enthusiasts. While delving into the minute details of McLaren’s new-gen hypercar, Leno also reveals something exciting.

As you may be aware, Jay Leno owns a McLaren F1 as well as its successor, the P1. So, adding a W1 to the collection would be a no-brainer, and Leno does have one on order.

Powering the McLaren W1 is an all-new 4.0-liter V8 hybrid powertrain that produces 1258 hp and 988 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The W1 weighs just 1399 kg, resulting in a power-to-weight ratio of 911 PS per tonne. The result is 0-124 mph in just 5.8 seconds.

Only 399 examples will be produced, and a few of them will be landing in the US.
