McLaren Speedtail in Green Carbon delivered in Bahrain
One of the first McLaren Speedtails was delivered in Belgium last month. Now, here’s another one that was recently handed over to its owner.
This Speedtail is owned by a Bahrain-based collector (Instagram: @the_collection1). This one is chassis no. 006. Just like the purple Speedtail we saw last month, this one has an interesting spec. The car is finished in green carbon and has light gold pinstripes and matching wheels. The interior is wrapped in tan leather and grey alcantara.
The McLaren Speedtail is part of the Ultimate Series and is the successor to the legendary McLaren F1. It is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 hybrid power unit that produces 1055 hp and 848 lb-ft of torque. McLaren says that the Speedtail will reach a top speed of 250 mph.
Only 106 Speedtails will ever exist. We expect to see more such interesting specs in the near future. However, we believe that the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic may have affected McLaren’s delivery schedule.
