McLaren SLR HDK by MSO is an SLR 722 GT for the road

McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has taken the wraps off its latest creation. It’s based on the Mercedes SLR McLaren and is called the MSO SLR HDK.

The car started life as a standard McLaren SLR. MSO added a bespoke widebody kit, which includes front fender extensions and rear fender flares. The car gets tweaked front bumper with larger vents, a splitter and rocker panel extensions. It also gets a massive fixed rear spoiler and an equally large diffuser.

The MSO SLR HDK has a bright metallic blue finish with the #14 graphic on the door panels and roof. It almost looks like a Hot Wheels car, especially with the white wheels.

The MSO SLR HDK draws inspiration from the SLR 722 GT race car and has been conceived as a road-legal race car. What do you think about this car? Let us know in the comments.
