McLaren Senna Races three Bikes to Celebrate Forza Horizon 4 Launch
Forza Horizon 4 will soon be released on PC and Xbox, hence promotional campaigns for the game is in full swing. The latest edition of popular racing game series is set in UK with the cover car being the latest British hypercar – the McLaren Senna. As such, Microsoft brought a Senna, one with the same spec as the cover car, to one of Britain’s most popular locations with automotive significance – the Goodwood Hill climb – to race alongside three 450cc motorbikes.
The intention was to represent one of Forza Horzion’s famous “showcase” event missions with scripted jumps and all and if you’ve played any Horizon games before, you know they did well. More than 450 cars will be available to race around UK in the game.
While the video might be scripted, we are sure the Senna is capable of giving those bikes a run for their money in real life too. It features a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 which produces 789 hp while the car itself weighs just 1197 kg (2,640 pounds). All this helps the car go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds.
However, the Senna isn’t the first McLaren to be featured on the cover of a Forza game. It actually follows on from the P1’s starring role in Forza Motorsport 5.
The Ultimate Edition of the game will be available from September 28, four days ahead of the full global launch of the game on October 2, 2018.
