McLaren Elva looks twitchy as hell at rain-soaked Goodwood

When the McLaren Elva lined up to drive up Goodwood hill, the conditions were far from ideal. The rain-soaked tarmac proved a bit too slippery for the Elva but ace driver Kenny Bräck had everything under control.

McLaren has brought the gold and white liveried Elva speedster to Goodwood this year. Traction was an issue when Kenny took the car out for a spin. You can clearly see the tires struggling for grip with every application of the throttle. Kenny was having to slide the car with inches to spare on either side.

The Elva is powered by a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 804 hp. With a lightweight body and all 804 horses driving the rear wheels, it’s no surprise that the Elva is lively on a wet track.
