McLaren 750S configurator pops up on Google ahead of launch
As you are aware, the McLaren 750S is all set to replace the 720S. We recently learned that the official unveiling could take place as early as April 26, 2023. However, Woking has been very secretive about its upcoming mid-engine supercar.
The first teasers of the 750S are expected to be released soon. But, before we get our first glimpse of the car itself, here’s something interesting that caught our attention – If you look up “mclaren 750 configurator” on Google, you will find a link to McLaren’s official configurator, with the model name “750S” clearly mentioned in the URL.
According to our sources, the 750S will be an evolution of the 720S and will use the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, albeit in a higher state of tune. The engine will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. It is rumoured to have shorter ratios this time, which would affect the car’s ultimate top speed.
We have also learned that the 750S will get a revised front and a redesigned rear fascia inspired by the McLaren 765LT. Inside, the 750S will offer Apple CarPlay connectivity, but is likely to miss out on the retractable instrument console.
