Max Verstappen caught speeding in his Aston Martin Valkyrie

Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen has been caught speeding in his Aston Martin Valkyrie.

According to reports, Max recently took delivery of his Valkyrie. In a recent video posted on the internet, the F1 ace can be seen travelling through France. The video shows Max driving through the Canta-Galet tunnel on the A8. Unfortunately, the passenger inadvertently also captures the speedometer, which can be seen displaying 124 km/h or 77 mph.

Now, the speed limit on this section of road is said to be 55 mph. With incriminating evidence already in the public domain, it’s highly likely that the French police would take action.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is powered by a Cosworth-sourced naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that revs to 11,000 rpm to produce over 1000 hp.

Max isn’t the only F1 driver to own a Valkyrie. Ex-F1 ace David Coulthard was spotted driving a Marina Blue example through Monaco last year.
