Maserati mid-engine super sports car prototype-4

Maserati

Maserati’s new mid-engined sports car is called MC20

The Maserati sports car prototype that we saw in November 2019 now has a name. It’s called the MC20, which stands for Maserati Corse 2020.

We still don’t know how the new car looks like. All we’ve got are these images of the prototype that were released by Maserati late last year.

The MC20 appears to be quite compact. It has vertically oriented headlights and vents on the rear fenders. It might get vertically opening doors as well. Under the skin, the MC20 could be powered by a 6-cylinder engine. It could get some form of hybrid system.
