Maserati MC20 special editions mark 20th anniversary of the MC12
Maserati is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the MC12 supercar with two new special editions – the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda.
Maserati returned to sports car racing in 2004 with the iconic MC12. The MC12 GT1 famously adorned the blue and black Vitaphone Racing livery, while the MC12 Stradale was offered in the horizontally split blue and white colour scheme.
The Maserati MC20 Icona features the MC12 Stradale colours of Bianco Audace Matte and Blu Stradale. It also gets the Maserati Fuoriserie logo in Bianco Audace on the side, in the lower part near the wheels and the Italian tricolore on the doors.
The chrome-plated wheels have silver hubcaps with the Trident logo in blue. The brake calipers are also painted blue. The car also gets auto-dimming mirrors and a carbon engine cover.
The MC20 Leggenda features the Nero Essenza and Digital Mint Matte livery. The car also gets trident wheels in Nero Lucido with Nero Opaco and Trident Digital Mint hubcaps, the Trident logo in yellow on the grille, doors and C-pillars and black brake calipers.
Both special editions get racing interiors with lightweight 4-way monocoque racing seats with their respective names embroidered on the headrests. Both cars also get the carbon fibre interior package as standard.
