Manthey Porsche Cayman GT4 RS MR inches closer to production

Manthey Racing is working on a performance kit for the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS MR. The prototype was recently spotted testing at the Nurburgring once again as the guys at Manthey continue to fine-tune the upcoming model.

The GT4 RS is the most track-focused version of the Cayman you can buy. The Manthey Racing kit is expected to include retuned coilover suspension, forged wheels, and upgraded brakes. Additionally, it will include carbon fibre rear wheel covers, carbon gurney flaps and other minor aero tweaks.

The Cayman GT4 RS MR will carry forward the same 4.0-liter flat-six engine from the stock version. This engine pumps out 493 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 7-speed PDK.

Manthey Racing also offers similar upgrades for the standard Cayman GT4, as well as the new 911 GT3. Thanks to their extensive racing experience, the company is known to transform standard Porsche GT cars into precision track weapons.
