Leaked! First images of the Lotus Emeya electric sedan

The first images of the Lotus Emeya electric sedan have leaked ahead of its official debut. The Emeya is the third all-electric model from the Hethel-based sportscar maker. It is touted as a rival to the Porsche Taycan.

The Lotus Emeya “hyper-GT” borrows design cues from the Eletre SUV. It features dual LED signature lights up front with a sporty bumper, a clean side profile with sculpted body panels and a stylish rear end with an LED light bar and a retractable spoiler.

Inside, the Emeya gets a large touchscreen in the centre; a feature that has become common in modern EVs in this segment of the market. The car has a 2-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel and gets a rather unique instrument cluster, which has been integrated into the dashboard itself.

Technical details of the Emeya are yet to be revealed. What we do know, is that the car will be capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 2.78 seconds and will have a top speed of 159 mph. We can expect it to be powered by a 120 kWh battery pack offering a range of up to 370 miles and an output of 905 hp.
