Lamborghini Urus to be unveiled on December 4, 2017

Lamborghini has confirmed that it will unveil the new Urus SUV on December 4, 2017. The Super Sports Utility Vehicle (SSUV) as Lamborghini like to call it will showcased at the brand’s HQ in Sant’ Agata Bolognese in Italy.

The Urus is based on the MLB platform which is shared with the new Audi Q7 and the Bentley Bentayga. According to Lamborghini boss Stephano Domenicali, the Urus will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine with around 650 hp. A plug-in hybrid model is also planned for a later date. Lamborghini plans to build the Urus in small numbers to maintain its exclusivity. The company will build 3500 units in 2019 and a mere 1000 units next year when it goes on sale.
