Lamborghini teases new supercar; Is it the Huracan Tecnica?

Lamborghini has a few launches lined up for 2022, and one of them has been rumored to debut around April. There’s a big chance it could be the final iteration of the Huracan. As per a recent trademark filing, the new model could be called Huracan Tecnica.

Now, we stumbled upon this teaser image from the Lamborghini Magazine from 2021. It features a part of the rear fascia and a hexagonal exhaust tip. We think it looks similar to the Huracan, which leads us to suspect that this teaser could be of the Huracan Tecnica.

From what we understand, the Tecnica is likely to be an updated version of the Huracan STO. It could feature some cosmetic changes on the outside and maybe a few tech updates on the inside. It seems the circular exhausts would give way to new hexagonal tips.

Details about the Huracan Tecnica are still scarce. However, it might get the same 5.2-liter V10 engine as the STO. This naturally aspirated unit delivers 640 hp and 417 lb-ft @ 5,600 rpm and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear axle. 

Lamborghini is expected to release one last limited edition before the Huracan signs off. We believe the Sterrato will be the final model based on this platform and is also likely to be the most expensive.
