Lamborghini Sesto Elemento up for sale; can be yours for $2.7 Million
Knight International is offering a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento for $2.7 million. The car is virtually brand new with just delivery miles on it.
The Sesto Elemento (sixth element) was launched in 2011 as a special edition, of which just 10 units were built. It is the most extreme iteration of the Gallardo, but unfortunately, it isn’t street legal.
Lamborghini has used a lot of carbon fibre in the construction of this car. The chassis, body, driveshaft and suspension components are made of carbon fibre. As a result, it weighs just 999 kg. The engine powering this beast is the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine you get in the road car. This motor pushes out 562 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.
The Sesto Elemento uses a 6-speed automated manual transmission. It may not be the best gearbox out there, but it still manages to catapult the lightweight track car from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed is a dizzying 221 mph.
