Lamborghini Revuelto (Aventador successor) leaked ahead of official debut!
The Lamborghini Revuelto is the replacement for the Aventador that we have been waiting for all this while. Besides the official name, the first images of the new supercar have also leaked online. The leaks come courtesy of Auto Capital magazine. As you can see, the Revuelto will appear on the cover of their upcoming edition.
‘Revuelto’ was one of the names that were doing the rounds. Some rumours had suggested that the car could be called Tormenta. That being said, we’re glad Lambo went with the former. It suits the new model, given that it’s the brand’s first hybrid super sportscar. It is powered by an all-new 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated unit, producing 814 hp @ 9250 rpm and 525 lb-ft of torque at 6750 rpm. The engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and two electric motors for a combined output of over 1000 hp.
The Lamborghini Revuelto is based on an all-carbon monocoque. It is also the first supercar to be fitted with a 100% carbon fiber front structure, including front-impact structures made from forged carbon. The company claims the carbon ‘monofuselage’ is 10% lighter than the Aventador chassis. The front frame is 20% lighter, while torsional stiffness has gone up by 25% compared to its predecessor.
Lamborghini will officially unveil the Aventador successor later today.
