Lamborghini L595 Zagato supercar previewed
One of the most famous companies for making one-off super-cool cars, Zagato, has recently previewed a roadster version of its own imagination of Lamborghini Gallardo on its official website. Christened as L595 Zagato, this exclusive and redesigned open-top sports car is based on the original coupe version of Zagato’s only 5-95 Lamborghini Gallardo, which was created for a renowned car collector Albert Spiess.
As evident from the images, the most prominent change on the L595 over the 5-95 happens to be the replacement of double bubble coupe styled roof for a more beautiful retractable roof, making it look even more exotic than before. In terms of design, the most noticeable changes on the car happen to be for the front and rear end, where the original sharp lines of the Gallardo have been tweaked for redesigned curves and swooping lines.
Apart from it, mechanical specifications of the L595 have not been revealed, however, since it’s based on the 5-95 which has the Gallardo LP570-4-sourced naturally aspirated 570 hp V10 engine, expect the L595 to sport the same. Though Zagato hasn’t confirmed about the number of the units it will produce for the L595, but going by the manner in which they produced only one unit of the 5-95, expect the L595 to be a one-off product too.
Along with the L595, Zagato has also unveiled its own version of Vision Gran Turismo – Quattroruote IsoRivolta, which is another exclusive and curvaceous sportscar from its stable. Planned to have just 5 units of it, Zagato is expected to plonk in a Corvette’s V8 engine in this new sportscar.
