Lamborghini Huracan Police Car Enters Italian Highway Patrol Fleet
The next time you’re caught speeding on an Italian autoroute, you might see one of these Lamborghini Huracan police cars in your mirror.
Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali delivered a fully kitted out Huracan police car to the Italian Highway Patrol. It will patrol the highways around the town of Bologna which is also home to the Lamborghini factory.
Like all Italian police cars, the Huracan has been painted in blue and white Polizia livery. It has been kitted with all the usual law-enforcement equipment one would expect to find in a cop car.
The Huracan police car comes with gun holster, radio, an on-board computer, camera, a fire-extinguisher, etc. It even has refrigeration unit to transport blood or organs during an emergency.
What sets it apart from the rest of the police cars is its 610 hp 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine. With a top speed of over 200 mph, it will be impossible to outrun it.
