Lamborghini Huracan Performante Crashes Hard in the UK
A Lamborghini Huracan Performante was wrecked in the UK last weekend. According to Supercars on the Streets, the car was leaving an event, when the driver decided to floor the throttle. What followed not only destroyed the supercar, but also the driver’s ego. Besides that, the occupants escaped the crash unscathed.
It is said, that driver used launch control and probably had the traction control turned down as well. The video shows the car swerving into oncoming traffic. In a bid to avoid a collision, the driver turns left before skidding off into a roadside tree. The right rear corner of the car suffered the most damage. The right rear suspension might also need some repairs. That said, the car doesn’t seem like a total loss and is likely to be back on the streets.
The Huracan Performante is powered by a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and has all-wheel drive.
