Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 First Impressions: Video
Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 is the new entry-level supercar that isn’t necessarily the best-in-class but promises to be a lot more fun than its all-wheel drive version. It is quite clear that the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren 650S have little to worry about a rear-wheel drive Lamborghini with a lowly 572 hp. Having said that, it does excel at a number of things and that includes the price.
The Huracan LP580-2 is supposed to be the affordable Lamborghini. It is cheaper than its all-wheel drive counterpart and should be more fun to drive, at least in theory. After driving the new Huracan 580-2 in Qatar, EVO’s Jethro Bovingdon reports, that it does feel light on its feet and despite less power, keeps you entertained pretty well. In ‘Corsa’ mode, the Huracan feels much more predictable than in ‘Sport’ mode.
Overall, the Huracan LP580-2 does feel a bit held restrained even in its raciest setting. The chassis and the powertrain have a lot of to offer and Lamborghini just needs to turn the taps on and we might have a baby-Lambo that’s as good as its rivals. First impressions of the Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 are positive. Checkout the video below.
