Lamborghini electric car concept to debut at Pebble Beach
Lamborghini has announced its plans for the 2023 Monterey Car Week. While all eyes will be on the Revuelto hybrid supercar, the carmaker will also showcase a concept EV, previewing the first-ever Lamborghini electric car.
Lamborghini stated, “The new concept of its first 100 percent electric car” will be on display at Monterey Car Week next week. It will be the first prototype of the brand’s fourth series production car.
The carmaker recently confirmed that its first production EV would be a 2+2 grand tourer. It is set to go on sale in 2028 and will share its underpinnings with other VW Group brands like Bentley and Porsche. Hence, we can expect the new Lamborghini electric car concept to feature a sporty yet practical design.
Until then, hybrids will remain the mainstay at Lamborghini. The next-generation Urus will feature a hybrid, before going full-electric. The Huracan successor will also be switching over to a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
