Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 leaked ahead of Pebble Beach
The first images of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 have leaked ahead of its official reveal. In my opinion, the new Countach looks absolutely stunning and a true successor to an icon.
There are quite a few design elements on this car that are inspired by the original – the flat front end, those side vents and the gills behind the cabin. Also, note the squared-off wheel arches and the quad exhausts.
The new Countach LPI 800-4 (where ‘I’ stands for ‘Ibrido’) is expected to be based on the Sian FKP 37 and could share the same 6.5-liter V12 mild-hybrid powertrain. Peak output is expected to be around 800 hp.
We have been told that Lamborghini will build 112 units of the Countach LPI 800-4. The price tag on one of these is expected to be around €3 million.
Just in case you missed it, we had revealed that Lamborghini was working a Countach tribute back in March this year.
