Lamborghini Countach: 3-Generations of an Icon reunite
The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 made its debut at Pebble Beach in August 2021. Now, less than 6-months later, the supercar is ready for delivery.
Lamborghini recently took the car out for a spin. It was accompanied by the iconic Countach LP 400 and the 25th Anniversary edition.
The Countach LPI 800-4 is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine mated to a hybrid system similar to the Sian FKP 37. However, in the Countach peak output has been boosted to 814 hp. Lamborghini claims the car can sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 mph.
112 examples of the Countach will be produced. The number of units is a reference to “LP 112”, the project name used internally during the development of the first Countach.
Technically, this isn’t the first time the 2021 Countach LPI 800-4 has been out on the road. Earlier, one of the first customer cars has been spotted testing outside the factory. Deliveries will start from Q1 2022.
