Lamborghini Centenario Roadster sells for $2.03 million at auction
A 2017 Lamborghini Centenario Roadster was recently sold at RM Sotheby’s Dubai auction. The supercar went for $2.03 million, which is slightly less than its sticker price of $2.3 million.
The Centenario was created to celebrate company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday. The Roadster version was unveiled at Pebble Beach in 2016. Only 20 examples were built, and this one was delivered new to Japan.
This Centenario Roadster is finished in Baloon White over a Pelle Nero and has a Nero Alcantara interior. It has just over 100 miles on its odometer.
At the heart of this limited-edition supercar is a very familiar engine. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 is from the Aventador. It produces 759 hp, which is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automated manual transmission. Lamborghini claims it will do 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph.
The Centenario is one of our favorite special edition models based on the Aventador. Lamborghini also produced 20 coupes.
