Lamborghini Aventador successor officially teased!

Earlier this week, Lamborghini surprised us with two new one-off supercars: the Invencible and Autentica roadster. These two special cars also mark the end of the pure-V12 era. The brand’s focus now shifts to the upcoming hybrid-powered Aventador successor.

Just hours after the unveiling of the one-offs, the first official teaser of the Aventador successor surfaced on the internet. The image is said to have appeared in the Lamborghini magazine. It partially reveals the rear end of the upcoming supercar. It clearly shows one of the hexagonal exhaust tips and a slither of the LED taillight.

Lambo’s new flagship super sports car is expected to be powered by an all-new 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with a hybrid system. The combined output of the new powertrain is expected to be around 1050 hp.

Sources tell us that the Aventador successor could make its official debut on March 29. Naturally, Lamborghini will follow up with a performance version. In fact, some digital artists have already imagined what the SVJ version might look like.
