Lamborghini Aventador successor launch date confirmed!

We were the first to tell you the expected launch date of the Lamborghini Aventador successor. We can now confirm that the information provided by our sources was correct. Lambo’s new flagship supercar will debut on March 29, 2023.

Here’s a screenshot of the official invite for the launch event, which was shared with us by a reader who prefers to be anonymous. Unfortunately, we still don’t know the official name of the Aventador successor. For now, it’s simply referred to as the “New V12 Hybrid”.

Spy images and leaked renderings of the car suggest that the new model would borrow styling cues from other Lamborghini supercars from the recent past. The front fascia seems to be inspired by the Sian, while the rear is reminiscent of the Centenario. That being said, there will be a few unique touches as well. It includes new Z-shaped side vents, buttresses, twin centre-mounted exhausts and a new engine cover, or a lack thereof.

The Aventador successor will be powered by an all-new hybrid powertrain. It features a naturally aspirated V12 engine supported by electric motors. Sources tell us that the ICE alone could develop around 850 hp, while the combined output is expected to be about 1050 hp.
