LaFerrari sustains damage as Ferraris clash at Paul Ricard

A video of a crash involving a $4 million LaFerrari and a 488 Challenge race car has surfaced online. The accident took place at the Paul Ricard circuit in France during what appears to be a Ferrari track day.

The video shows both cars approaching the final right-hander before the start / finish straight. It is a good reminder of why one shouldn’t take unnecessary risks on a track day.

The collision appears to be strong enough to have caused damage to both cars. The crunching sound of carbon fibre cracking does suggest that the LaFerrari might need some new body panels. That being said, the repairs would certainly put a dent in the pocket of the owners.
