Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut sets new 0-400-0 km/h world record
Koenigsegg has done it again! The Swedish hypercar maker has beaten its previous world record for the fastest 0-400-0 km/h. The new record was achieved in a Jesko Absolut.
Koenigsegg took the Jesko Absolut to an airfield in Orebro, Sweden. At the wheel of the hypercar was factory test driver, Markus Lundh, achieving several new records in the process.
The Jesko Absolut accelerated to a top speed of 412.72 km/h (256.45 mph). The time taken for the car to sprint from 0-400 km/h and back to a standstill was 27.83 seconds. That’s 0.98 seconds faster than the Regera’s record set in 2023.
According to the company, the Jesko Abolut achieved 0-400 km/h in just 18.82 seconds. The run from 0-250-0 mph took just 28.27 seconds, while the 0-250 mph took 19.20 seconds.
The Jesko Absolut is the low-drag version capable of reaching speeds in excess of 300 mph. At its heart is a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a peak output of 1600 hp and 1106 lb-ft of torque. The engine drives the rear wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission.
The car was fitted with a roll cage and Michelin Cup2 R tires. It was running on E85 fuel.
