Koenigsegg issues Do-Not-Drive Order after Jesko fire incident

Koenigsegg has issued a Do-Not-Drive Order (DNDO) after the recent fire incident that completely destroyed the Jesko Nur Edition.

According to Egg Registry, Koenigsegg has sent out an email to all Jesko owners to apprise them about the incident. The company states that they don’t know the exact cause of the fire yet and has requested all Jesko owners to avoid driving their cars until the investigation is complete.

“[We] don’t yet know the cause of the incident,” Koenigsegg said. “Out of an abundance of caution, we ask all Jesko owners and drivers to hold off on driving their cars until we have had a chance to understand the situation better,” the company added.

Koenigsegg Jesko Nur Edition caught fire during the ‘6to6 Europe Tour 2024’ supercar rally In Greece. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the fire was so intense that it turned the million-dollar hypercar into ashes.

According to reports, the burnt wreckage is now being transported to the Koenigsegg factory in Angelholm, Sweden, for further analysis.
