Koenigsegg Agera RS Phoenix destroys a Tesla Model S Plaid in a race

The Tesla Model S Plaid can sprint from 0-60 mph in 1.99 seconds. While that’s quite impressive, it isn’t fast enough to beat a fuel-burning hypercar. In this case, the Koenigsegg Agera RS Phoenix.

Here’s a short video of the Agera RS Phoenix, once owned by supercar collector Manny Khoshbin, leaving a Model S Plaid in the dust. It shows the Koenigsegg riding alongside the Plaid on an open stretch of highway. It’s clear from this video that the Tesla hasn’t got the legs to beat Agera in a roll race.

The Model S Plaid packs 1020 hp from a dual-motor setup. It has a top speed of 200 mph. That being said, the old-school automobile here has a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that runs on E85 fuel. It develops over 1300 hp and can achieve speeds in excess of 284 mph.
