Is this the best looking Ferrari Portofino on the west coast?
The Ferrari Portofino is often disregarded for being the lesser of the Ferraris. It isn’t the most exciting of the range but it sure is good looking, at least in my opinion. Then, once in a while we find masterpieces like this.
This could be the best looking Portofino on the west coast. The car is finished in a striking shade of violet, officially called Dino Viola. The interior wrapped in a dual-tone white and black upholstery with yellow seat belts that really go well with the bright exterior.
Portofino is powered by a re-tuned version of the California’s 3.5-litre, turbocharged V8. It develops 592 hp @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 561 lb-ft @ 3000-5250 rpm. The Portofino can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 sec and has a top speed of 199 mph.
When this car was delivered, the Portofino M was not on sale yet. The 3.9-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine the latest iteration makes 612 hp and 561 lb-ft of torque. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission has also been replaced with an 8-speed box. Thanks to the upgrades, the convertible does 0-62 mph in 3.45 seconds.
Moreover, if you aren’t into convertibles, Ferrari also offers the Roma. A svelte coupe that looks as good as the Portofino, if not better.
