Is Lamborghini building a street-legal Huracan Super Trofeo?
If you have been following the supercar scene lately, you would be aware that the Audi R8 is getting a special send-off in the form of a limited edition street-legal R8 GT2. It seems like Lamborghini has similar plans for the Huracan.
Spy images shared by Cochespias suggest that Lamborghini could also be working on a street-legal Huracan Super Trofeo EVO 2. The images reveal a hardcore, track-focused version of the Huracan.
The bodywork looks similar to the Super Trofeo track car. This includes the intricate front end with massive ducts, wider fenders and a Sian-inspired rear fascia with a large fixed rear wing. The car has a roof scoop with a shark fin, hexagonal LEDs up front and different centre-locking wheels.
If this is indeed a road-legal Huracan Super Trofeo, then it could use the same 5.2-liter V10 as the track car. This engine develops 620 hp @ 8250 rpm and 420 lb-ft of torque.
