India’s first Lamborghini Huracan Performante delivered

India’s first Lamborghini Huracan Performante has been delivered. The keys to the supercar were handed over to its owner in Mumbai recently.

It is spec’ed in Arancio Borealis, which to the uninitiated is Lamborghini orange. It has been reported that the owner also has India’s only Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta in his garage.

The Lamborghini Huracan Performante was unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. It is the spiritual successor to the Gallardo Superleggera and hold the Nurburgring lap record (6 min 52.01 sec). The Performante is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It does 0-60 mph in a claimed 2.9 sec and has top speed of 202 mph. It features a trick aerodynamic package which produces 750 percent more downforce than the standard car.

The Huracan Performante was launched in India in April 2017 and cost Rs. 3.97 crore.
