Hyundai’s Genesis teases its Le Mans hypercar

Genesis, the luxury vehicle brand of the Hyundai Motor Company, is all set to enter the 24 Hours of Le Mans as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Following the official announcement in September, Genesis has released a teaser of its Le Mans hypercar.

The teaser image released by the company shows a design sketch of the Genesis hypercar. It has a curved canopy with a shark fin attached to it and a large rear spoiler.

Genesis has also released a short video featuring Jacky Ickx, Genesis Brand Partner.

Hyundai had announced in September that it was planning to compete in the premier class of WEC, which is the Hypercar class. The company would be developing an LMDh car, which offers the possibility of using hybrid technologies and powerful combustion engines.
