Rimac Nevera teaser-1

Here’s the Rimac Nevera teaser that you’re not supposed to see

Since last week, Rimac Automobili has been teasing a new variant of its electric hypercar, the Nevera. We believe it’s an extreme version, possibly with more power and hopefully, less weight.

As part of the teaser campaign, Rimac has shared an image of the Nevera that is being slowly revealed depending on the number of interactions on their post. If you check their website, there are still more than 40,000 pixels yet to be uncovered.

The long wait was too much for some enthusiasts like Morten Hedegaard, who was kind enough to sift through the code and find the actual teaser image. Big props to Morten for sharing it with us.
As expected, the image shows the top view of the Nevera. At first glance, it looks identical to the standard version. It has exposed carbon on the roof, part of the front and a carbon rear spoiler.

Speaking of the spoiler, this is where Rimac seems to have made some changes. While the standard Nevera has an active rear wing, the new version appears to have a fixed spoiler with large end plates, which also replace the central pylons, as the main support structure for the wing.

It seems the new “extreme” Nevera could be more track-focused. The added downforce from the fixed wing might also restrict its top speed. However, it will certainly be a boon on the racetrack.
