Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster announced; to be unveiled on August 19
Hennessey Performance has taken the wraps off the Venom F5 Roadster. The Texas-based tuner has dropped a couple of images on Instagram, however, we will treat them as teasers as the official unveiling will be held on August 19.
The Roadster will use the same carbon tub and is likely to get a removable top. Little seems to have changed in terms of the car’s design. The rear fascia looks similar to the coupe and has the same horseshoe-shaped LED tail lights.
The Venom F5 Roadster will use the same 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm and will be paired with a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission.
According to our sources, the production number of the Roadster will be less than the coupe, while the asking price will be slightly higher. More details will be revealed in the coming days.
