Hennessey Venom F5 no. 16 delivered to Rafael Martinez
Texas-based Hennessey Performance has delivered the 16th Venom F5 hypercar.
The keys to the car were handed to Rafael ‘Rafa’ Martinez. An avid supercar collector, Rafa also has a Ford GT, McLaren Senna and a Ferrari SF90 in his garage.
Rafa has opted for the Heritage Edition, inspired by the 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. It features a Manga White exterior with Sapphire Blue livery and silver wheels.
Production of the Venom F5 is in full swing at the company’s assembly line in Sealy, Texas. Production of the hypercar began in 2021.
The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels.
The Venom F5 is based on a carbon monocoque and weighs just 1360 kg. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 1298 hp per ton and is built to reach speeds in excess of 300 mph.
